Drummers matter to us...
At The Drum Shop…COMMUNITY is everything. If we don’t support and nurture the community in which we live, love and work…how will it grow? Everyday we realize how important the drumming community is and it needs to grow. One way we are helping to grow the community is to simply be a part of it. Through helping drummers in a time of need, new programs to support musical education or simply hosting afternoon tea and coffee; our responsibility is to the drumming community at large. Oh…YES…you read correctly…afternoon tea and coffee.
Over the years in retail we’ve learned that people need a break from the chaos and insanity that is retail. So everyday at 4pm, we stop what we are doing (unless we are helping a drummer or new patron) and relax with some tea, coffee and snacks. EVERYONE is welcome and we’ve built a “living room” of sorts in The Drum Shop for this purpose.
Whether you need to ask a question, gain some insight on gear, learn more about the Tulsa Drumming Community and its vast history, or just need to “get away” for a little bit…you are always welcome at The Drum Shop.
Tulsa Drummers Union
A good friend of ours who’s a prominent physician in the Tulsa Community asked us if we would be interested in reviving the Tulsa Drummer’s Union. Never ones to shirk from a challenge we said YES…
Now the challenge needs to be met by YOU the drummers and families of drummers of Tulsa. We are asking for your support to be a part of this wonderful community by signing up to be a part of the Tulsa Drummers Union.
Once we have established enough participants we will arrange to host meetings, gatherings, events and participate in local parades (if the timing is right).
We look forward to your participation and hope you will join us in rebuilding this wonderful guild of drummers.
If you have questions…please feel free to email Roger.
